Savannah Guidry Burnett, Certified Physician Assistant
Savannah Guidry Burnett, a certified Physician Assistant, has been practicing Dermatology with Dr. Smith since 2011. She is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana and graduated summa cum laude from Barbe High school. She then went on to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biological Sciences. Upon graduation, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Louisiana State University Allied Health Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Savannah completed an internship in Dermatology in Lafayette, Louisiana, and has been working as a Dermatology Physician Assistant since graduation. Savannah has always had a passion for treating skin. Her curiosity and interest began as a young child while watching several family members struggle with debilitating skin diseases. Savannah resides in Lake Charles with her husband, Clayton and her daughter, Vivienne. Savannah is a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. She loves spending time with her family, spoiling her two dogs, and working out.

Cindi Reed, PharmD, CCRC
Cindi Reed is a native of the Lake Charles area. She completed her bachelor degree in Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana Monroe. She also earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is board certified by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy. She has been involved in drug and device research since 1992.
She is certified as a research coordinator for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and has served as a research coordinator or sub-investigator for over one hundred clinical trials, Phase I, II, III, and IV in various medical specialties. Cindi remains very active in dermatology research. The majority of her research to date has focused on psoriasis and the pharmacogenomics of psoriasis therapy. She has experienced great personal reward watching patients’ skin conditions improve and in-turn seeing it reflected in an improved quality of life.
Cindi also enjoys the cosmetic side of the dermatology practice. She has provided laser cosmetic services since 2004. She is skilled in Laser Hair and Vein Removal (Alexandrite, ND YAG and Diode Lasers), Laser Pigment Removal, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) therapy, CO2/Fractional Laser Resurfacing, Radiofrequency tightening, Radiofrequency/microneedling for cellulite & tightenting, Non-Ablative Fractional Lasering (FRAX) and Cryolipolysis (Coolsculpting). She is a diplomat of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). She knows that when clients feel good about the way they look, they interact better with the world around them.
Cindi is married to Dru and they have a son, Kade and three other children of the canine persuasion. Service is an important part of Cindi’s life. She has served on medical mission teams since 1996 and serves and sponsors children in Honduras at Good Shepherd Children’s Home. She is a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church where she has been a Catechist in the youth religious education program since 2012. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening and working out at Hurricane Crossfit.
Jill Conner, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Jill Mosley Conner is a native of the Lake Charles area. She completed her bachelor degree in Nursing at McNeese State University in 1992. After which she worked as an emergency room nurse and quickly rose through the ranks to become Supervisor of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Room Department. She later returned to McNeese State University where she earned her Masters in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 1999.
Jill worked independently in Rural Health Clinic medicine, as well as Geriatric Psychiatry medicine. She has completed Dermoscopy training and uses this skill to help diagnose skin cancers in her clinic. She has been working in Dermatology with Dr. Shondra Smith since 2001. Jill takes pride in rising to the many challenges she comes across in the field of Dermatology.
Jill has raised three children. She loves going to LSU football games and has a passion for animals, landscaping, and exercise.
