Dr. John P. Miller, a native of Lake Charles, is a double board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. He earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he served as class president and graduated at the top of his class. He scored in the top 1% on his board exams and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.
Following his medical degree, Dr. Miller completed his dermatology residency at LSU New Orleans. He then advanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in Dermatopathology in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Miller is an expert in skin cancer, specializing in both clinical and surgical dermatology. His commitment to the field is further evidenced by his avid research contributions, with over 20 research presentations and publications at regional and national meetings.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Miller enjoys cooking, exercising, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his family.
